It's a GREAT Spring For G-Force Bodybuilding |
|
It's been a great start to 2009 for G-Force bodybuilding as two of our competitors placed well at 2 toughly contested shows. Bill Willyerd Bill placed first in both the over 50 and the open men's bantamweights at the 2009 Oregon Ironman in Lincoln City, OR. I began working with Bill on his diet in September 2008 as he was encouraged to compete again for his 50th birthday. Bill had previously won the open bantamweight division at the 2006 Washington Ironman. Bill started his long, tough journey at a bodyweight of 196 in September. 57 pounds later, Bill weighed in for the May 16th show at 139 pounds. Bill's focus, determination, and strict adherance to his diet plan ultimately paid off as he won both the open and the over 50 bantamweight classes. Congratulations Bill, you worked hard and it paid off. Chris Denham
Having competed once before at the 2007 Northern Classic as a middleweight, Chris stepped up his training and brought an amazing physique to the 2009 Emerald Cup. Competing this time as a light heavyweight, Chris bested 9 other competitors to finish 5th in his very first Emerald Cup. Anyone familiar with the Emerald Cup, knows the quality of muscle on stage year after year at this show, especially in the very competitive light heavyweight class. Chris has a lot to be proud of, not only for his outstanding placing, but for his onstage presence as a relative new-comer next to a lot of seasoned muscle, and his perfectly performed night show routine. Way to go Chris, we are VERY proud of you!
